Brian's Grassroots Efforts in North Carolina.

It's a small world. If you live in North Carolina chances are you probably have seen Brian pushing his cart around and passing out treats to dogs in your neighborhood while taking to their fur parents about our mission.

We have heard all the way back to our HQ that Brian is now called "the dog treat guy" in Raleigh... A title that he laughed at and embraced when he was recognized out running errands.

We interviewed Brian in order to understand how he has established such a strong base of rescue supporters and followers in North Carolina.

Why do you believe supporting dog rescues through treat sales is such an effective way to make a difference?

Brian: "Supporting dog shelters/rescues through the sale of our all natural biscuits is a win-win-win. The shelters win through our donations. The pet owners win because our biscuits are healthier other biscuits in the stores and most of all the dogs win because they get to eat the best tasting and most meaningful biscuit they've ever eaten."

What's the feedback you've received from rescues or pet parents who've benefited from your sales?

Brian: When I'm out at an event or talking to people in the street the feedback is so powerful and supportive. The most telling feedback though is the unsolicited requests from rescues in our Raleigh market.  In a very short time we have started relationships with multiple rescues who have seen our model and want to be a part of the mission."

What partnerships or collaborations have been most impactful in helping rescues through your efforts?

Brian: "The most impactful partnerships/collaborations are the ones we maintain with our rescues and shelters. We have to work together to help each other to make the biggest impact that we possibly can."

Anything you want to share with people reading?

Brian: "Opening up the Raleigh market has been incredible!! The support has been overwhelming! Keep a look out for me and my wagon of dog treats!!"

We are excited to see what Brian has accomplished and the relationships he has built by simply going door to door and market to market.  You can always reach out to Brian directly via his email brian@rescuetreats.dog.  Especially if you are a rescue needing funding or a local business that wants to support rescues by offering our treats to your customers.
